JSON unfolding prevents restricted-column metadata from syncing
1 source thread · first seen 2026-10
Summary
With PostgreSQL column-level permissions and JSON unfolding enabled, a table containing an inaccessible JSON column can retain other inaccessible fields after sync. Querying the table then fails with a permission error.
- Affects
- Teams using PostgreSQL column-level grants
- Workaround
