Publishing fails to apply reordered relations

Part of the theme “Reordered relations are not reliably applied” · 2 reports · see them all

Summary

When a draft only changes the order of entries that remain connected in a many-relation field, publishing preserves their previous order instead of the draft order. Disconnecting and reconnecting an entry can make that entry move, but does not fix the others.

Workaround
Disconnect and reconnect an entry to make that entry move in the published relation.
